A Day on Retreat
A day on retreat.
Morning practice. Safari. Long meals. A cultural workshop one day, a walking safari the next. Sundowner. Dinner around a fire. No two days are quite the same.

Roam the Wild
Chobe starts at the gate.
11,700 square kilometres of park. The highest density of elephants on earth. 450 bird species. Most afternoons on retreat are spent in it.

Honor Local Traditions
The village next door.
Most of our team grew up in Kavimba. These experiences are how guests get to know the community that makes the camp work.

The Food
A taste of Botswana, with a healthy touch.
Local Botswana recipes, healthy international cooking, and herbs and vegetables from our own garden where the season allows. The menu was designed by Ednah Rosen, author of A Taste of Botswana.

Three full meals a day, plus high tea and sundowners. Vegan, vegetarian, and allergen-friendly menus arranged in advance. Coffee, tea, smoothies, juices, and water always available.
What to Expect
The shape of a retreat here.
The blend
Wildlife, wellness, wisdom
Every day combines a practice block with a safari or cultural activity. The balance is the point: the practice deepens because of the bush, the safari lands harder because of the practice.
Wildlife
Daily chances at the big mammals
Chobe holds the highest density of elephants in the world. Lions, giraffes, hippos, buffalo, and leopards on most drives. Multiple game activities across the week.
Group size
8 to 20
Your group only, privatised for the week. Intimate enough to learn everyone’s name by day two.
Fitness
No minimum
Practices scale to any level. Safari drives are drive-in, drive-out. No trekking required.
