Your Teacher
Pauline has always been passionate about wide-open spaces and untamed horizons. For the past 13 years, she has travelled and worked around the world in environmental and cultural conservation.
Since childhood, she has dreamed of Africa. Over the years, that dream has become a true part of her life: she has lived there for several years and also trained and qualified as a safari guide. Africa is a continent where she feels deeply at home — connected to nature, to the living world, and to what truly inspires her.
In 2017, during a transformative experience in Peru, she discovered yoga, which changed the way she connected with both the world around her and herself.
Since then, Pauline has deepened her practice through several trainings across different yoga traditions — including Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini and Yin — in India, France and around the world. Alongside yoga, she has explored other holistic practices such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, Shiatsu, Reiki and Tibetan singing bowls.
Today, she draws from these different practices to support each person wherever they are and wherever they need to be, creating a space to reconnect with the body, the breath, the soul and nature.
Pauline feels incredibly fortunate to have turned her passions into her profession, and to now be able to accompany others around the world while inviting them to explore their own inner world.

About Munga Plains
A home in the heart of the plains
Munga Plains is a family-run retreat centre on the edge of Chobe National Park in northern Botswana. The camp was built slowly, by hand, with local timber and local skills, to create a place where yoga, stillness, and wild Africa can meet in one space.
Our guests sleep in comfortable glamping tents overlooking the savannah. They practice in an open-air shala designed to feel part of the bush. They share meals made by a chef who knows every guest's name, track wildlife with guides who grew up here, and come away with something they did not know they were looking for.
We host intimate retreats every week between March and December. Our philosophy is simple: deep hospitality, real wilderness, and enough time and space for something honest to happen.
